Hi fellow art lovers. I have been a maker/creator since I can remember back in the days my Mum, Nan and Grandma went to C.W.A. on a weekly basis in the '80's. Since then, there's been quite a few creations, including the odd sock puppet, paper plate mask and latch hook hanging around. After graduating from latch hook and moving onto cross stitch and smocked dresses, I then entered the world of sketching and finally painting. Art in High School was a love/hate affair with a fabulous A+ for a still life sketch of a wine bottle, glass and vase, to the low of an E for my (what I thought was) wonderful sketch of my latest Adidas runners. I lost a couple of art years after that, but in the end, I could no longer quash the urge to create. I started dabbling again, taking many and varied art classes, joining the Albury Wodonga Art Society, and finally decided to out myself to the art world.
This and many other reasons is why I come up with the idea of Art Me Gallery. I actually do believe art can be cathartic as well as beautiful and decorating. I also love the diversity and extreme talent of Australian Artists. I wanted one place, the go-to place for Australians when they are looking for their next beautiful piece of art to adorn their walls or shelves. Art Me Gallery is meant to be an easy to navigate, easy to sell, easy to buy, one stop shop for art.
