Bruce Patrick Hamill started drawing when he was very young. For a long while, Hamill did many large carbon pencil drawings, and found they were becoming more and more detailed and darker. Many of his drawings were taking months to complete. He changed his medium to digital art, using a Wacom Cintiq Tablet, where he could explore even darker contrasts and add other unique styles to his drawings, such as the recognisable “three dimensional line” technique. He has maintained a unique look about his art, infusing an almost mechanical and natural look about some pieces, as he does list the late great H.R. Giger as one of his influences. Hamill is now trying to stretch the limits of his style, and is also touching on character and film design.
