About artist. Robynn o’lynn was born in melbourne and moved to sth Gippsland over twenty years ago. She has worked with handmade paper for over a dozen years and creates beautiful landscapes, seascapes, flora and fauna. Made from her own handmade papers, which she painstakingly cuts and glues, she has created many unique and award winning pieces. Robynn has had successful exhibitions at regional and private galleries and has won many victorian art awards including first prize in the weekly times award at the royal Melbourne show which is testimony to the fine detail of her work. She continues to create memorable art pieces and her work hangs in galleries Australia wide. Robynn avoids using paints and dyes in her paper and achieves her colours by recycling old envelopes, school fliers etc. robynn says she takes pride in the fact that she can recycle old paper and jewellery, that would normally end up as land fill, and create something original and decorative.
